It is the season for planting and we stumbled upon the cutest Bend flower farm.
Mitchell and I always prefer to go out of the way to find seasonal activities that will be fun for the whole family. In the spring we like to go to flower farms! A couple of months ago we went to a tulip festival and last fall we picked apples.
Whistle Stop Flower Farm is located between Tumalo and Redmond, you will notice signs for it on the highway making it very easy to find. The staff was very friendly and super helpful! Meadow gravitated towards a playground that they have and right next to it was a chicken coop. Meadow was in heaven!
They had a great deal of selections and fairly priced. In my opinion, it was a darling experience that the big box stores will never be able to provide. We spent a couple of hours just glancing at all the beautiful flowers, admiring the property. It was extremely photogenic and I wish I could’ve taken everything with me! Including their sweet little farm cat.
Meadow had a butterfly in her hands! Thankfully the butterfly got away, lol.
Looking for Meadow, haha
We left with a couple of hop plants, a hanging basket, and two packs of six colorful snapdragon flowers.
I was one happy shopper! Have a fantastic weekend!
